Have you ever cooked up breakfast, lunch or dinner for 69,000 mates? It’s not as hard as it sounds. When you hold a fundraiser for Foodbank Victoria, every $1 donated is TWO meals created so you’re actually helping feed 69,000 Victorians a day who rely on our food.
Your fundraiser can be a fitness goal, a 21st, a chilled night in, or a morning out. Create your own event or get involved in someone else’s wild idea. Whatever way you choose to fundraise, you’ll instantly become a Foodbank angel. Wing-a-ding-ding.

Charlie’s Reindeer Food
Selling bags of reindeer food to raise money for Foodbank Victoria. Who would dream up such a thing? Meet Charlie of ‘Charlie’s Reindeer Food’. At such a young age, he’s not only an expert on the plant based dietary requirements of reindeers but so full of heart – and entrepreneurial too. Charlie set up a little manufacturing operation at home, packaging up carrots for his reindeer food product line to sell to family and friends.
State Library Bake-Off
Thoughtful staff at the State Library of Victoria swapped the Dewey Decimal system for a Spice Bake-Off to raise $’s for Foodbank Victoria. Themed around spices to celebrate International Translation Day, they came up with three categories for bakers to focus on and punters to vote on. Best Sweet, Best Savoury and Most Creative use of Spice.
