Set your clock or mark a calendar if that’s more your thing…because on December 10, 3AW Melbourne's Ross and Russ, Tom Elliott, Shane McInnes and Heidi Murphy will be broadcasting live from Foodbank’s new Altona warehouse for 12 hours straight to raise One Million Meals for hungry Victorian families.

Foodbank Victoria provides 70% of all food relief across the state. Through our network of over 1,200 schools and nearly 500 charities right across the state, we’ve distributed over 25 million meals in the last 12 months alone.

Right now leading up to Christmas, there are 500,000 Victorian households skipping meals or going days without food because their food runs out before they have enough money to buy more.

With our food donations down from growers, manufacturers and retailers feeling the pinch, we'll need to spend $6.5 million to fill the gap and meet demand in the next year.

Every dollar donated by 3AW listeners will go straight towards purchasing food and supporting the programs we run to help make sure no one has to go without food.
