I'm taking part in the Fruit Loop challenge to raise funds for Foodbank Victoria and help feed those in need.
Did you know 57,000 people rely on Foodbank for food every single day?
That’s why I’ll be helping Foodbank pick 50,000 apples straight from the trees at the Montague Orchard which will then be donated directly to Foodbank’s door for people doing it tough.
To help Foodbank continue to close ‘the loop’ from farm gate to family plate, I need your support. Will you help me to reach my target? Every $1 donated is TWO meals created - helping fill empty bellies across Victoria.

Why this event is so important to me
Wednesday 14th Feb FoodBank makes a huge difference to the community and i’ve been lucky enough to see this first hand- having had the opportunity previously to volunteer at one of their markets. I’m excited for this event because this time around it actually involves the entire community. Employers who encourage their people to participate (shout out to my awesome AusNet), the volunteers who are fundraising & will pick the apples, The Orchard at Montague for letting us pick their beautiful produce and then donating it to FoodBank, and the amazing team at Stella’s Kitchen at Montague, for feeding the volunteers amazing food! it’s absolutely heartwarming to see so many people coming together to make a difference, And I’m ever so grateful for your support.
