Fruit Loop Challenge

I'm taking part in the Fruit Loop challenge to raise funds for Foodbank Victoria and help feed those in need.

Did you know 69,000 people rely on Foodbank for food every single day?

That’s why I’ll be helping Foodbank pick 50,000 apples straight from the trees at the Montague Orchard which will then be donated directly to Foodbank’s door for people doing it tough.

To help Foodbank continue to close ‘the loop’ from farm gate to family plate, I need your support. Will you help me to reach my target? Every $1 donated is TWO meals created - helping fill empty bellies across Victoria.

Thank you.

My Updates

I am BACK after an amazing first event!

Thursday 20th Mar

Picture thisA sunny day, a group of eager and smiling people, many first-timers at apple picking, gathered with a shared mission. While some looked a little nervous at first, most were raring to go. Once we got clear direction, the fun and teamwork commenced. What started with a hint of “corporate rivalry” soon transformed into a united, supportive team effort. By the end of the day, we had bonded, made friends, and, most importantly, picked 40,000 delicious Montague apples to be shipped fresh to those in need of nutritious fruit.

A standout moment? An unexpected hiccup occurred when Matt’s tire got a puncture. Rather than slowing us down, it became a testament to the incredible spirit of the day. No one walked past without offering help. A small team quickly rallied, solving the issue barly missing a beat in our schedule. It was a perfect example of the selflessness and camaraderie this event fostered.

So that is why we smashed our picking target, in terms of the number of apples. But what about getting them to hungry kids bellies?

What we need? Now we just need some contributions to ensure this delicious fresh produce gets to those in need!
