It only takes a few minutes to set up your table. Remember, every $10 you raise will create 1 seat at the table for people who need our help this Christmas.
2. Spread the word loudly
Tell everyone you know by sharing your fundraising page by email, text or on social media and get the word out that you need help to fill your table with seats for Foodbank.
A place at the table for Carla and her daughter
Carla* came to Foodbank in distress. On the way to dropping her daughter off to school that day, she knocked on our door asking for our help, with her daughter by her side. There was nothing for lunch that day and her daughter was too embarrassed to go to school and see her friends with an empty lunch box.
We could see the relief in Carla's body and on her face, when she understood that she could now feed her child. She walked away with bags of fresh fruit and veggies, and we knew that we had genuinely just changed her week.
